Our software platform.

At Hynt, we have developed an extensive, patent protected scent tech platform. At its core is the Hynt data engine, which combines application specific databases with AI-driven learning algorithms. Built on evidence-based research, these algorithms process real-time sensor data – from environmental inputs to wearable trackers – as well as commands and personalisation via voice, app and other digital interfaces.

The scent tech that’s solving sleep.

Hynt is the first non-invasive intervention to optimise sleep performance in response to the body’s physiology. Our solution supports inputs from a wide range of biometric data tracking devices – from smart watches and smartphones, to commercial-grade brain activity sensors and professional polysomnography.

Our scent tech can create and deliver bespoke scents that elicit targeted responses – whether to calm, relax, restore or gently awaken. Scent and sleep share common brain path activations, reinforcing scent’s profound influence on sleep. Since scent perception varies from person to person, personalisation is key to maximising relaxation and enhancing sleep quality.

Our research, in partnership with a world leading sleep research centre, continues to validate the science behind our platform and the efficacy of its application in sleep. By influencing heart rate, respiration rate, electrodermal activity as well as alpha, beta and gamma waves we aim to enhance sleep quality: from the time it takes to fall asleep, to deeper sleep and waking up more rested.

Our results show that personalised scents with precision delivery significantly influence these physiological metrics, with greater efficacy than either no scent or commonly used relaxation scents.
